This just a piece of code I came across. It was originally written in 2004 as bring-up
test for a big FPGA board which had 15 LED's. Just blinking them on and off whas not my style
so I wrote a module which ran the 'Nightrider' pattern. But not just LEDs back and forth but
the complete behaviour with the fading effect. As often is the case this started leading
it's own life. If a user doubted the board, the connections or programming setup,
the phrase "have you tried Nightrider" could be heard.

There is no document or test bench for this. Especially getting the right amount of fading
has to be tuned on real hardware.
